Rick Ross: William Roberts (born 1977 in Carol City, Florida, USA) is an hip-hop artist better known by his stage name Rick Ross, a moniker derived from the name of drug trafficker Freeway Ricky Ross, to whom he has no connection. Rick Ross is signed with Slip-N-Slide Records, and distributed by Def Jam Recordings. Ross is the founder of the Carol City Cartel. His debut album "Port of Miami" featured the break out hit "Hustlin" while his album "Trilla" featured R. Kelly on the smash hit "Speedin".
